What People Say

Nine messages from our inbox, published with permission and edited only for length. Two are unfavourable and both are staying where they are.

Read this before the messages. These are individual experiences. They are not averages, they are not evidence, and they cannot predict what will happen for you. Age, skin type, diet, sleep, sun exposure, hormones, medication and plain consistency all change the outcome, and some people notice nothing. We publish no rating markup anywhere on this domain for precisely that reason.

We asked customers what changed, what did not, and specifically asked them not to be polite about it. This is what came back.

Nine Messages, Unedited Except For Length

★★★★★Month 6

Six months on, and the honest version is that months one and two were completely unremarkable. I only carried on because I had bought six jars and I hate waste.

Month three was when my nails changed and the skin thing came later and much more quietly. I do not look younger. I look less exhausted in photographs, which was the actual thing I wanted.

Gelagen customer Marisol A.Marisol A.Chandler, Arizona
★★☆☆☆Month 2

Not for me. I took them daily for eight weeks and there is nothing I could point at. I asked for the refund, got instructions the next morning, and was not argued with, which is the only reason I am bothering to write this.

My guess is that I eat pretty well already and there was nothing here to fix.

Gelagen customer Bev K.Bev K.Missoula, Montana
★★★★★Month 4

The unexpected one for me was cuticles. They used to be permanently ragged and I picked at them constantly, and now there is nothing to pick.

Face is somewhat better and I will not pretend the sunscreen I also started has nothing to do with it. Mentioning the confound because this website keeps telling people to change one thing at a time and I did not.

Gelagen customer Chioma E.Chioma E.Katy, Texas
★★★★☆Month 3

My hairdresser noticed before I did, which I think is the most reliable evidence available to anybody. She said the regrowth at my parting was thicker than in the autumn.

Four rather than five because six jars at once is a real amount of money even at the lower rate.

Gelagen customer Helen S.Helen S.Springfield, Illinois
★★★★★Month 5

Winter here is grey from October and my skin normally goes flat and papery by February. This is the first year that did not happen and the vitamin D on the panel is my guess as to why, though I accept that is a guess.

The taste is the reason I actually kept going, which sounds trivial and is not.

★★★☆☆Month 1

One month in, so this is a review of the experience rather than the result. Delivery took four days, the guides arrived by email straight away and are considerably better than free PDFs usually are.

No visible change yet, which the site told me to expect. Three stars for now and I will come back either way.

Gelagen customer Ruth M.Ruth M.Dover, Delaware
★★★★★Month 7

I am fifty-three and I expected nothing, so this is me being surprised. The difference is texture rather than tone: makeup sits differently and my hands look less dry, which my husband commented on unprompted for the first time in three decades.

Gelagen customer Andrea P.Andrea P.New Haven, Connecticut
★★★☆☆Month 2

Nails better, everything else the same so far. The reason I am giving three stars rather than four is that I would like the sugar content flagged on the front of the jar rather than only on the panel, even though the website is upfront about it.

Gelagen customer Kendra J.Kendra J.Duluth, Minnesota
★★★★★Month 4

I take thyroid medication and I want to say something specific. I told the phlebotomist about the 5000 mcg biotin because it says to on the jar, and she asked me to pause it for three days before the test.

Had that not been printed I would never have known, and my results would have been wrong. That is worth more to me than whatever the gummies are doing.

Four Things That Recur

Nine messages are an anecdote rather than data. But we read everything that arrives, and four patterns come up often enough to be worth naming.

Nails are mentioned first, nearly always. A nail is the most legible tissue on a human body: it keeps a physical record of the weeks in which it was built and it is not swayed by lighting or mood.

Someone else notices the skin before you do. Gradual change is invisible to daily observation. A colleague back from three weeks away is a better instrument than your own bathroom mirror.

The people who quit early expected week two. Almost every refund request we receive arrives inside the first thirty days, which is exactly the window in which nothing can honestly have happened.

Hair reports are about breakage. "Less in the drain" and "it holds a length ""now" come up constantly. "It grows faster" almost never does, which is what the biology would predict.

Why The Bad Ones Stay

Bev got no result and took her money back. Ruth is unconvinced after a month. Kendra wants the sugar on the front of the jar and she has a point. Keeping those messages costs us sales; removing them would make everything else on this page worthless to you.

If your experience was poor, write to [email protected]. We would rather read it than not.

About These Messages

Were these people paid?

No. Nobody was paid and nobody was given free product in exchange for writing. Names are shortened and the photographs are illustrative rather than the individuals themselves, which is why we say so here.

Why is there no star rating in your search listing?

Because we publish no aggregate rating and no review structured data anywhere on this site. Star snippets attached to unverified testimonials are misleading, and search engines have become good at spotting them.

Where are the before and after photographs?

We do not publish any. Lighting, angle, makeup and camera do more to a skin photograph than any supplement can, and such pairs are the easiest thing on the internet to stage.

Can I send you mine?

Please do, good or bad, to [email protected]. We ask permission before publishing anything and we edit only for length.
