Expectations

Week By Week

An honest timeline. It is slower than a sales page would tell you and it includes the outcome where nothing happens.

Why Everything Here Is Measured In Cycles

A skin cell takes four to six weeks to travel from the basal layer to the surface. A fingernail grows around three millimetres a month, so the nail you can see today was largely built in the months behind you. Follicles hold a hair in its growing phase for years at a stretch. Biology fixes every clock in this product, and not one of those clocks runs in days.

Twelve weeks is three skin cycles and roughly a centimetre of nail. It is the shortest period over which you could look at yourself and reach a conclusion you would be willing to defend.

Twelve Weeks, In Five Stages And One Caveat

Individual experience varies enormously. Treat this as a map rather than a promise.

01

Weeks 1–2 — nothing, and that is correct

You will notice the taste and the habit forming. Anyone describing a transformed complexion in this window is describing hydration, sleep or optimism. A small number of people get mild digestive unsettlement in the first few days, which usually passes if you take the serving with food.

02

Weeks 3–6 — the first cycle turns over

The first cells built with a full nutrient supply are now reaching the surface. This is where a few people report skin feeling less tight after washing, which is a barrier observation rather than a visible one.

03

Weeks 6–9 — nails, almost always first

The most commonly reported change, and the one that makes the most sense: a nail is a direct record of what was available while it was being made. Judge it on the band closest to the cuticle and ignore the end of the nail entirely. The message we get most often is that the corners have stopped tearing.

04

Weeks 9–12 — hair breakage, not hair growth

Less in the drain, better length retention. Growth rate is largely fixed by your follicles; what nutrition influences is how well the shaft was assembled and therefore how much of it survives being washed, dried and tied up.

05

Week 12 onward — the skin verdict

Three complete cycles have now been built with the panel available. If a shortfall was limiting anything, this is where it shows, and it shows as evenness and texture rather than a dramatic change in tone.

06

The other outcome, which is real

Nothing changes. We would rather write that here than let you discover it. The most likely explanation is also the least dramatic: your diet already covered these nutrients, so there was no gap for a supplement to close.

How To Judge It Without Fooling Yourself

A mirror is a poor instrument for gradual change, because you look into it every day and daily observation hides slow movement completely. Three habits make the assessment honest.

Photograph yourself on day one. Same window, same time of day, no makeup, no filter, straight on. Repeat at day forty-five and day ninety. This is the single most useful thing available to you and it is free.

Look at the new nail, not the whole nail. The section near your cuticle is the only part built since you started. The tip is history.

Change one thing at a time. Begin a supplement, a serum, a cleanser and a sleep schedule in the same fortnight and you will never learn which of them did anything — and you will keep paying for all four.

When To Stop

If ninety days have gone by and your photographs show nothing, stop. That is a real answer and it is worth more than another six months of hoping. The sixty day window exists so that reaching this conclusion costs you nothing.

Whatever week you are in, put it down and speak to a doctor if a rash arrives, if you start itching, if anything swells, or if headaches or nausea set in and stay. None of that is the product bedding in, and none of it should be sat out.

About The Timeline

Everyone else promises four weeks. Why twelve?

Because four weeks is one cycle, and the cells arriving at your surface then were only half-built with the new supply. At twelve weeks the answer stops being wishful and starts being trustworthy.

Should I be worried if week eight has come and gone?

Yes, especially for skin. Nails are usually the earliest visible marker and even they often take until week eight or nine to be obvious near the cuticle.

Can I speed it up?

No. The limiting factor is your renewal cycle, which a larger dose does not accelerate, and the vitamin A figure makes exceeding the serving unwise.

My skin looks worse in week two. Why?

It is more likely to be unrelated: a period, a change in weather, a new cleanser. If it persists past a fortnight or comes with any allergic sign, stop and speak to a clinician.
